Description
Pork butt or shoulder is a cut from the top of the pig’s front shoulder. Being a muscle that isn’t used frequently, pork butt is a tender and well marbled cut of meat and includes a fat cap.
Typically used with slow cooking methods like barbecuing, braising, or stewing pork butt is also fantastic cut into steaks and grilled!
Midwestern Meats offers both Bone-In and Boneless Pork Butt/Shoulder. Pictured pork butt is bone-in. A full bone-in pork butt is between 9 to 11 lb. A full boneless pork butt is between 6 to 8 lb.
